Merging Models for SDXL

        Hi I would like to merge models for text 2 image with SDXL, I was wondering if the other model to merge have to be SDXL 1.0 base as well or I can merge with a base 1.5 SD model?

          Yes, it needs to be an SDXL model. You can only merge two models with the same architecture.
