Hi Andrew, the last few times I’ve tried, the ComfyUI-TeaCache node won’t load from the Comfy manager – the import fails. It’s not a SDA issue but can you shed any light?

        Thanks

Hi David, it has a conflict with other custom nodes so it couldn’t load. The only solution is to remove other custom nodes and reinstall the python env.

Thanks, Andrew, so what does that mean for me using Colab – can you do anything with the notebook to resolve this?

It requires downgrading the peft library to 0.17.1.

I added the TeaCache custom node that performs the downgrade to the notebook.

Thanks very much, Andrew, TeaCache is now installed!

Unfortunately, there’s using it results in a highly pixellated image with the default setting. I bypassed the node and the image was fine. I tried using an earlier version of the node but that didn’t help.

Again, not your problem and I can still use Flux models without it 🙂

Doubly weird – it now works fine. The only difference I can see is that previously I was using xrok for connection to Colab and now am back on ngrok. Perhaps the session wasn’t accurately registering the changes I was making to the workflow because of intermittent disconnection, which seems to happen more frequently with xrok. I first discovered the issue with xrok with a ZImage workflow where it wasn’t registering that I’d connected a lora node and was giving me errors there. Again, the issue went away when I reverted to ngrok.

So TeaCache now works – thanks, Andrew
