Greetings!
First of all, I’d like to thank the creators of this place for sharing the knowledge and workflows. My question is – what would be the best order to learn my way around ComfyUI workflows and their creation?
I previously used A1111 on a shallow-ish level: creating some pics, some img2img, you know – the usual. With comfy i am delighted to see nodal interface, and the general philosophy around its UX.
So, I decided to spend some time to level up myself from a complete doofus level, and i see that this website has articles about all sorts of things. How would i go about it? There are tutorials, Workflows, Courses, Members resources.
My current plan of “studying” looks something like this:
- Go through Courses section: Stable Diffusion lvl 1 to lvl 4;
- Go through ComfyUI beginners Course in Courses section
- Go through Workflows section in reverse date (olderst-newest) trying to replicate them both in A1111 and Comfy
- See how workflows are made from Members Resources section, throw nodes at the wall and see what sticks
Is this plan any good? Any additions/improvements? Also, what would be mid-term suggestions to go deeper (say, 6 months~ish)? Study Python, git, pytorch?
Thanks in advance, and happy to be a part of this enthusiast community.

Welcome!
If you want to be thorough and have a solid foundation, you can go through the Stable Diffusion levels 1 to 4 first. Then you can tackle the comfyui courses.
If you want to get there fast, you can take the comfyui course directly. I don’t repeat the content in the SD courses but link to relevant articles.
The workflows are not ordered in the skill level. You would need to judge which ones you want to study at your level.
The comyfui workflow on the resources page is a good resources to study a particular module in isolation. The comfyui workflows out there usually have massive number of nodes, making them difficult to study and reuse.
